Frequently asked questions

What if I’m sick?
If you are ill or unable to report to work for any reason, you must call our office as soon as possible. If it is after business hours, leave a message on our phone system: When the system answers, press 2 (“if you are a contract employee through Premier…”) and leave a detailed message. A recruiter will be notified immediately and they will return your call and contact the company to which you are assigned.

Even if you call your supervisor at the company to which you are assigned, please remember that Premier must also be contacted.

When do I get paid?
Payday is every Friday and checks are ready to be picked up in our office after 10:00a.m. If you have not picked your check up by 5:30pm on Friday, it will automatically be mailed to you.

If you have opted to use direct deposit, funds are transferred to your account to be available on Friday. The exact time the funds become available varies depending on your bank.

When and how can I sign up for Direct Deposit?

  • You can sign up for direct deposit any time. Stop by our office to pick up the direct deposit request form or download it from our website under “Resources”, fill it out and return it, along with a voided check, to the Premier front desk.
  • Direct deposits can be made to savings accounts. You will need to provide us with a savings deposit slip.
  • Direct deposits can be made to out of town or out of state banks.

If I sign up for direct deposit, how will I know how much was deposited to my bank?
Your pay stub will be mailed to you on Friday.

How do I get more timesheets?
Timesheets will be placed in with your check weekly or, if you have opted for direct deposit, they will be included with your pay stub.

When are time cards due?
Signed, completed time cards are due in the Premier office by 5:00 on Mondays.

How do I get my time card to you?
There are several ways to get your completed, signed time card to us:

  • Drop it off at our front desk during business hours.
  • After hours - place it in the mail slot located to the left of the Key Staffing door.
    • be sure to put it in an envelope first
  • Fax the time card to us.
    • Be sure to make a copy of the time card first and fax the copy rather than the original
    • It is a good idea to wait 5-10 minutes then call the Premier front desk to make sure the fax was received and was legible.

Do I get paid for holidays?
Holiday pay, as well as what days are considered holidays, is at the discretion of the company you are assigned to.

Can I change the number of exemptions on my W4?
Yes. Stop by the office to pick up a new W4 or download one from our website. Return the completed form to the Premier front desk.

If I’m a temp-to-hire employee, am I eligible for any benefits?
Yes, you may be eligible for some benefits. Contact your recruiter for detailed information.
